Itchin’ for some Golf in Killarney? Then check out the Scratch Cup.

Fancy yourself as the next Rory McIlroy? (Or the next Justin Rose seeing as Rozzers is going through a bit of a slump at the mo) Prove it by entering the Scratch Cups that Killarney Golf & Fishing Club will be hosting on the 13th, 14th and 20th of July.

The Scratch Cups are open to members and non-members alike and has three levels to accommodate golfers of all levels. These are intermediate, junior and senior level. To enter the Intermediate Scratch Cup you must have a handicap of between 10-18, to enter the Junior Scratch Cup your handicap must be between 5-9 and to enter the Senior Scratch Cup your handicap must be 3 or under.

The Intermediate and Junior Cups have an entry fee of €40 for non-members (€10 if you happen to be a member) and the Senior Cup costs €50 for non-members (€15 for members).

The tournaments are being held in the Killeen, Killarney’s premier golf course, and a course which hosted the Irish Open only two years ago. It is a European Tour Standard course. Plus, there’s some magnificent scenery to enjoy while your ambling along the fairways.
