Artwork by members of Coolgrane Training Centre, a centre which cares for people with mental health problems in Killarney and its surrounding areas, is currently the subject of an art exhibition at Killarney Library. The exhibition started last Thursday the 20th March and runs until Thursday the 3rd April. The exhibition features paintings, drawings, photographs and 3D structures.
The Killarney Library is situated on the Rock Road next to the Sandpit Car Park and not far from High Street. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm with late openings until 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. It’s a great place to pause, rest and reflect in Killarney with a great selection of books and if you’re here for an extended length of time then you should definitely consider taking out a library card which, as well as obviously allowing you to borrow books, will also let you avail of free internet on one of their computers.
