Get your June Bank Holiday off to a roaring start and stay at Killarney’s Holiday Village for Ireland BikeFest 2017. Now in its 11th year, Ireland BikeFest was inspired by the vision of hundreds of Harleys rolling into town for the 2006 European H.O.G.® Rally in Killarney. Embraced by locals and visitors both national and international alike, BikeFest is now an established in Killarney’s busy summer calendar. Ireland’s only free open biker festival, the three-day extravaganza is the perfect way to celebrate your June bank holiday weekend.

Highlights

Don’t miss the parade on Saturday, when a cavalcade of hundreds of bikes of all shapes and sizes will roar through the streets of Killarney from 11am. Then there’s the exciting array of merchandise at the Bike Village, the delicious food and drink, family fun, and even a novelty dog show.

Wild Atlantic Way Rides

For true motorbike enthusiasts, the real focus of BikeFest is the unique chance to ride stunning tracks along the Wild Atlantic Way. From twisting roads high in the mountains to winding routes around sparkling lakes and invigorating rides along the coast, the Wild Atlantic Way is the perfect route for bikers, and Killarney is the ideal base to explore it.

Experience some of the most breathtaking aspects of the Kerry Wild Atlantic Way on rides led by veteran Celtic Thunder and Gaelic H.O.G.® Chapter Members. You will get to see places you would only find with local insider knowledge. These trips are by pre-registration only, so register at the H.O.G.® Hospitality & Info Area located in the Bike Village at the INEC. You will need to sign up early, as places are strictly limited.

Entertainment

It’s not all about the bikes: The organisers bring some of the best entertainers to the INEC bike village for a full programme of live entertainment. It’s all free, all day and late into the evening on the Outdoor Stage, Main INEC and the Harley Bar in the Bike Village. Enjoy performances by exciting tribute bands, including Live Lizzy, Knights of Leon, and Dep Leppard.
