American Wrestling Roadshow wheels into Killarney

American Wrestling Roadshow

With Conor McGregor riding high in the UFC rankings and MMA starting to be shown live on TV3, wrestling is enjoying  something of a boom in Ireland at the moment. So it’s no surprise that Killarney has decided to get in on the act. The American Wrestling Show is returning to the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre on Friday the 1st August after a very successful stint last year. This is a family friendly show and, if you are interested in going, you’re advised to pre-book in advance as last year’s show sold out.

This year’s show features Tiny Iron and Tiny, with a frame belying his cute name, is a man with “the biggest biceps in Britain”. If you don’t believe me here is a picture of Tiny and his giant biceps. Pretty big, eh? Well Tiny has toured Britain and mainland Europe for years and he’s now got his sights firmly set on Ireland. It won’t be an easy ride though as he’ll be facing off against the current Wrestling.ie Champion Dunkan Disorderly. Sparks are sure to fly when these two half-men, half- mountains collide.

Like I said this show is family friendly so don’t be afraid to bring the kids along too. The preparation that goes into these shows and the professionalism of the athletes ensures that every show is as barnstorming and exciting as the last. Tickets are priced at €12 and you can pick them up on ticketmaster.ie or at the reception in the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre. The Sports and Leisure Centre is on the bypass road just off Daly’s roundabout. If you would like any more information check out wrestling.ie.
